Service Description

Walk-in clinic that provides full legal representation to low-income members of Saskatoon at no cost. Clients are assisted by law students (under supervision of practicing lawyers) or by staff supervising lawyers. Issues may include:

  • Landlord-Tenant Issues
  • Summary Criminal Matters
  • Prison Law Matters
  • Compensation claims (i.e. 60s Scoop, Day Schools)
  • Social Assistance Issues
  • Human Rights Issues
  • Immigration and Refugee Matters
  • Wills and more
  • Guardianships
  • Power of Attorney and more.

NOTE: The Walk-in Advocacy Clinic does NOT provide services in the areas of family law, serious criminal matters and many areas of civil law.

Eligibility

- Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis. - You must first be denied Legal Aids' services if your issue is family or criminal related.
