Child Care

A licensed child care home that provides care and supervision for up to 12 children between the ages of nine months and 12 years. Operated in the provider’s private residence. Child care provider is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi languages. 

Parents/guardians are welcome to volunteer to teach kids about different fields.

Programs and Activities

• Daily learning and social activities, and outdoor play.
• Schedule is designed to encourage children to learn through play, get creative, and interact with others in a meaningful way.
• Fully committed to the health, safety, and well-being of all children in their care, following safety and hygiene regulations. 
• Appropriate support for children with potentially life-threatening medical conditions can be provided as per parents’ guidance.
• Do not provide any transportation for picking up or dropping off kids. 
• Public transport might be used, if needed, only in a specific excursion from the facility and back. 

Nutrition

• Follow Canada’s Food Guide to ensure all meals and snacks meet nutritional requirements.
• Provides two snacks and lunch daily.
• Light snack will be provided as needed to the early arrivals.
• All children will be served the same food. 
• Infant formula or baby food; or meals and snacks for a child who requires a special diet will be the parents’ responsibility. 
• Allergies will be duly noted. Children’s names and photos will be posted in all food serving and preparation areas, outlining the allergy information.
• Menu will be posted near the entrance for reference.
