Child Care

A licensed facility that provides care and supervision for up to 44 children between the ages of thirty months (toilet trained) and six years. One parent needs to be a faculty/staff or student of the University of Saskatchewan to attend. Child Care Subsidy accepted. 

Parent-run board of directors with the opportunity to volunteer.  

The Parent Central waitlist is not monitored; instead, use the Campus Day Care Centre online waitlist.

Philosophy

• Play based philosophy within a safe and secure environment. 
• Encourages children’s fine and gross motor skills, social skills and cognitive development.

Programs and Activities​

• Ten week music program twice a year that all children participate in.
• Swimming in the Education pool once a week.
• Unlimited activities around the University of Saskatchewan. 
• Go outside daily in the play yard with bikes, snowboards and sleds.

Nutrition

• Follows the Canada Food Guide.
• Offers two snacks and one lunch daily.
• Works with parents for special diets and allergies.
