Philosophy
- Believes every child is entitled to be given the opportunity to develop personal responsibility and social skills.
- Believes every child deserves a safe, warm, and caring environment (a place where children thrive and want to be), in which to grow and develop to their maximum potential.
- Each child is recognized as a unique individual who brings their own abilities to the program and deserves to be given the encouragement and space to try new things, explore new ideas, and develop their own unique creativity.
- Aims to provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment that contributes to the child’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- You and your family are at the heart of everything the child care provider does.
- Provides an environment of caring, integrity, experience, and dedication to their job.
- The heart of the program is love – love, combined with a secure, nurturing, developmentally appropriate educational environment.
Programs and Activities
- Schedule is meant to give you an idea of your child’s day. Actual times and activities may vary depending on time of the year, weather, age, and temperament of the children.
- Age appropriate activities are scheduled with the flexibility allowed to respond to the needs of each individual child and their various ages.
- Daily program of activities adopts and adapts the vision and principles of Play and Exploration: Early Learning Program Guide and Emergent Curriculum – through this vision and principles, the daily program hopes to promote:
- Children as competent learners.
- Holistic learning and development.
- Balance in a child’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth.
- Strong positive relationship.
- Stimulating and dynamic environments.
- Daily program has a flexible routine that may change a little or a lot each day depending on the choices children make and what is available to them each day.
- Children will enjoy a structured routine that allows flexibility.
- A routine helps the day flow more smoothly and lets children know what to expect from day to day.

- Provides three nutritious and well-balanced meals.
- Provides morning breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for feeding your child if they arrive after the set meal time.

- Children are offered the food, but they will not be forced to eat.
- Goal is to offer nutritious meals and snacks to the children in their care, as nutrition is a vital part of a child’s health.
