Service Description
A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 51 children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years. Child Care Subsidy accepted.
Parents have the opportunity to volunteer.

Philosophy
- Believe that all children are individuals and have the right to be respected and nurtured in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Provides a carefully planned environment, which ensures all children are able to participate to their full potential by supporting individual needs, while facilitating the child’s growth in the areas of social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative development.
- Works in partnership with parents, recognizing the importance of the family and valuing their commitment to their children and supporting parents in meeting their responsibilities to their children.
- Environment that is provided by the Centre is rich in warmth and love with an emphasis on co-operation, courtesy, nurturing, security and non-violence.
- Believe that the best care can be offered to the children of our Centre through the
co-operation of parents and staff with one another.
Programs and Activities
- Programs offered daily are to incorporate the following principles: children as competent learners, holistic development and learning, strong positive relationships and stimulating and dynamic environments.
- Goal is to provide a stimulating experience that enhances the development of children and their individuality.
- Believe that when parents become and remain involved in the centre’s activities, meaningful connections can be established between home and the centre – these connections enhance the individual development of each child.
Nutrition
- Encourage the children to learn healthy eating habits by supplying well balanced meals following the “Canada Food Guide”.
- Four-week rotating menu, showing the lunch and snacks provided at the centre.
- Breakfast is served at the centre until 8:45 am.
- Children have some options for breakfast and can choose what they would like to eat.
- Children are encouraged, never forced, to try all foods on their plates.
- Children are never forced to finish their food nor is food ever used as a reward or punishment.

Children between the ages of 6 weeks - 12 years.

Fees
Infant (6 weeks - 18 months) Under 90 hours $175.78 per month, Over 90 hours $214 per month.
Toddler (18 months - 30 months) Under 90 hours $157.07 per month, Over 90 hours $200 per month.
Preschool Under 90 hours $162.63 per month, Over 90 hours $200 per month.
School-Age Under -Drop-in $40 per day.
Child Care Subsidy accepted.
