Service Description

Provides Child Welfare Services and Support to Cowessess citizens, preventing children from being separated from their family. The Sacred Wold Lodge activities help families to create stability and structure, while teaching life skills.

  • 3-6 month program supported by Kokums and Mushums of Cowessess
  • Assistance to find a new home when transitioning out of the Sacred Wof Lodge
  • One year family support after program

Eligibility

Families connected to child welfare or in danger of losing their children.

• Documentation (Section 9, Long Term Order, etc.)
• Immunization record
• Completed Family Background Questionnaire
• Copy of Probation Order, Undertaking, etc
