Child Care

A Francophone licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 15 children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years. Child Care Subsidy accepted.

Philosophy 

• Believe that quality programs with their competent staff encourages the development of socio-emotional, socio-intellectual, linguistic, fine and global motor skills of children aged six weeks to 12 years.

Programs and Activities

• Program’s aim is to stimulate the child’s development using games and socialization.
• It provides children a French Learning environment to live, practice, and learn new things.
• It is child-centred and adapted to the different stages of development.
• Children are exposed to multiple intelligences that may develop different experiences that integrate: curiosity, independence, respect for others and the environment, ability to communicate and make decisions, and develop motor skills.

Nutrition

• Centre follows a  five week rotating menu prepared by the cook in collaboration with the Director – this menu is posted in the classroom for parents to see.
• ALL foods prepared will be in accordance with the Canada Food Guidelines and a weekly menu will be posted.
• A snack consists of a serving of fruit or vegetables plus one other food group.
• Lunch will provide one serving from each of the four food groups.
• Centre does not provide food to children with food restrictions – parents are asked to provide these.
