Service Description
Offers support for individuals affected by abuse, including survivors of sexual assault, spousal assault (domestic violence), dating violence, stalking/harassment, older person abuse, family violence, and adults who were abused as children (adult survivors). Also provides counselling for those exposed to trafficking or sexual exploitation.
NOTE: You do not have to be physically abused to seek services. 80% of clients come in for counselling as a result of other forms of abuse (i.e. emotional or verbal abuse).
NOTE: Support is also available for secondary survivors (a friend or loved one supporting anyone identified above). Transportation may be available.
Eligibility
16 and up (14 or 15 year old's can access if they have been sexually assaulted).
