Service Description

A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 14 children between thr ages of six weeks – 29 months. Child Care Subsidy accepted.

Philosophy

  • Have a play-based program. 
  • Genuinely love and care for children while promoting Early Learning.
  • Teach children through a holistic approach.
  • See children as competent, co learners, and teach through their own curiosity and creativity.
  • Allow children to foster independence and explore their capabilities.
  • This teaching method allows them to respect the uniqueness of each child.

Programs and Activities

  • Days include, but are not limited to:
    • Free choice activities/ invitations.
    • Teacher led/structured activities including projects.
    • Indoor/Outdoor play.

Nutrition

  • Believe good nutrition begins early.
  • Follow the Canadian Food Guide.
  • Promote a healthy life style.
  • Provide breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
  • Accommodate special dietary restrictions the best they can including allergies and different cultures.

Eligibility

Available to children of students of Carlton school and the community. Children aged six weeks - 29 months.
