Service Description

Provides various grief and loss support groups, counselling and education as well as specialized support for those impacted by having a loved one missing including MMIWG2S+. 

Also offers education and training across Saskatchewan related to trauma, trauma informed care and resiliency building. This includes:

  • In-person education sessions for communities, organizations, businesses, educational institutions and others.
  • Train-the-Trainer opportunities to build capacity within communities and organizations.
  • Conexus Resource Library – a comprehensive lending library offering a variety of reading materials and resources that can assist children and adults experiencing grief, professionals, volunteers, educators, and students; two-week loan period.
  • Online publications
  • Webinars

Support groups include:

  • Adult Grief Group
  • Conversations about grief and loss – online group
  • Surviving Suicide Loss Support Group
  • Homicide Loss Support Group
  • Caring Hearts Camp – a weekend camp for children and teens who have recently experienced a loss due to death of a family member.
  • Hope for the Holidays event
  • Hope for the Holidays Grief Group
  • Post Holiday Grief Group
  • Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Loss – counselling, sharing circles, support for agencies and individuals

  • First Responders: Impact of Trauma on Others / Traumatic Impact on Self
  • Fostering: Love and Loss; Grieving When a Foster Child Leaves
  • Grief During the Holidays: Finding Hope During the Holiday Season

  • Impact of Trauma on Others / Traumatic Impact on Yourself
  • Creating a Trauma on Others / Traumatic Impact on Yourself
  • Creating a Trauma Informed Care Agency
  • Ambiguous Loss / Missing Person Loss
  • Building Hope & Resiliency
  • Understanding Trauma / Intergenerational Trauma (delivered in partnership with an Elder)
  • Self-care and Resiliency
  • A Child’s Grief: A Supportive Resource for parents, siblings, caregivers, teachers and friends

Individuals experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one.
