Healthcare providers – offers resources to healthcare providers on effectively supporting the return to work for cancer survivors:
- Information, tools, and courses, to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to facilitate a smooth transition back to work for cancer survivors.
Employers – provides guidance for employers involved in supporting employees returning to work or staying at work after a cancer diagnosis or treatment:
- Support and Stay in Contact – establishing supportive communication channels.
- Work Assessment – evaluating the work environment to understand potential challenges.
- Job Accommodation Ideas – considering and discussing potential accommodations to facilitate a smoother transition.
- Return to Work Plan – creating a customized plan outlining steps for the return to work, continuously assessing and adjusting the plan as needed.
