Service Description
Provides an independent, nonpartisan watchdog, empowered to drive action to address housing needs and homelessness in Canada.
Includes:
- Promotion and protection of the right to housing in Canada
- Recommendations to improve Canada’s housing laws, policies, and programs so that they enable people and families in Canada to access to adequate, affordable, and safe housing that meets their needs
- A submission tool for Canadians to share experiences with homelessness or housing problems.
Does not help with individual concerns or disputes.
