Service Description
Ensures organizations are fulfilling their obligations set out in the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) and the Accessible Canada Regulations.
Includes:
- Promoting compliance and encouraging organizations to take proactive steps to identify, remove, and prevent barriers
- Monitoring compliance and, if necessary, takes action to enforce it
- Information on filing complaints against organizations that did not meet their requirements about accessibility plans, feedback processes, or progress reports
- My Accessibility Portal – an online platform to help organizations fulfill the notification requirements under the ACA.
