Service Description

Provides information sessions and support for individuals aged 17 to 35 interested in becoming stem cell donors.

  • To register as a donor, visit the website.

Eligibility

1) Between the ages of 17 and 35. 2) In good general health. 3) Free of infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, or hepatitis B and C. 4) Free of health issues, including cancer, blood diseases, insulin-dependent diabetes, certain heart conditions, etc. 5) Willing to be a donor to any patient in need.

Application Process

Visit the Canadian Blood Services website.

Documents Required

- Government-issued identification that lists both name and date of birth.
- Alternately, donors can also use their donor card or digital donor card on the GiveBlood App.
