Eligibility
To qualify, you must: be a Canadian resident for tax purposes; have an adjusted family net income under $90,000; not have access to employer/pension-sponsored or private dental insurance; and have filed your tax return in the previous year.
▪ If you have dental coverage through a provincial, territorial, or federal government social program, you can still qualify for the CDCP. Visit the website for details.
▪ If you have a spouse or common-law partner, you both need to meet the eligibility criteria to be able to qualify for the CDCP. Visit the website for details.
The program will be implemented in a phased-in approach - see details above.
