Memory Care

Provides staff who are specially trained in caring for individuals with dementia. Offers a person-centred care approach that honours and respects resident voices and the voices of those closest to them. A comprehensive life history is completed, which focuses on the experiences, preferences, and interests of the individual. Services include:

• health monitoring by licensed nurses, 
• medication management, 
• diabetes management, 
• oxygen management,
• assistence with showering, grooming, and dressing,
• toileting and incontinence care, 
• transferring and walking assistance, 
• catheter and ostomy care, 
• special diets,
• risk monitoring for safety concerns, 
• personal laundry,
• positive behaviour support.
