Service Description

Offers participants the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the staff and decide whether the BridgePoint program is the right fit. Retreats include:

  • In-depth assessment interview with nursing team
  • Introduction to the program philosophy and recovery tools
  • Meal support in community
  • Small groups (8-10 participants) with individualized support
  • All meals and accommodations onsite.

BridgePoint offers onsite and virtual programming for individuals with diagnosed and undiagnosed eating disorders, which includes bulimia, anorexia, binge eating eating disorder, and eating disorders not otherwise specified. All programs are free of charge. Operates in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Eligibility

Individuals ages 16 years and over. Participants can self refer for a retreat but will need the support of a doctor and counsellor to attend Module 1 and Module 2. Medical and psychiatric stability are required for all onsite programs.
