Service Description
Provides residential programming for individuals with diagnosed and undiagnosed eating disorders, which includes bulimia, anorexia, binge eating eating disorder, and eating disorders not otherwise specified. All programs are free of charge. Visit the website for more information.
Module 1 – Laying the Foundation (Three Weeks)
- Eating disorder-specific group therapy
- Three daily psychoeducational and processing eating disorder groups
- Nutritional support and coaching
- Ongoing meal support, preparation and planning
- Creative Expressions
- Breath and Embodiment Work
- Yoga and Intuitive Movement
- Equine Assisted Learning Groups.
Module 2 – Building the Bridges (Two Weeks)
- Focus is on the development of the the self in relationships
- The program continues to incorporate a variety of modalities, including yoga and mindfulness, creative expressions
- Exploration of themes, including communication, boundaries, people pleasing, attachment, the relationship cycle, trust, forgiveness and nutrition.
Body Trust (Seven Day)
- Program that guides participants through an immersive journey toward reconnecting with their bodies in compassionate, non-judgmental ways
- Includes group discussions, experiential activities, individual reflection and more.
Operates in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority as part of the continuum of healthcare in Saskatchewan.
Eligibility
Module 1
- Ages 16+.
- Medically and psychiatrically stable individuals
Module 2
- Ages 16+
- Medically and psychiatrically stable individuals with diagnosed eating disorders
- Completion of Module 1
Application Process
Module 1 & Module 2
Complete an online online application form.
NOTE: Your counsellor will need to fill out Part B and your Primary Care Provider will fill out Part C. You can submit Part A while waiting for the other parts to be completed.
