Service Description
Provides transportation services to the residents of Lloydminster and area that have special needs or mobility issues, including:
- Border City Express
- Provides transportation to serve individuals with mobility challenges, with door-to-door service to their destination and back home.
- Fixed cost per trip ($7.25)
- 780-205-1666
- Border City Care-A-Van
- Provides transportation for individuals (with or without physical challenges) to “out of town” non-emergency medical appointments, using minivans.
- Cost is a suggested amount:
- $130+ for return trips to Edmonton or Saskatoon
- $80 to Battlefords
- $60 to Vermilion
- Arrangements may be made for individuals with financial restrictions/no social assistance – contact for details.

Eligibility
Border City Express: open to those who have some type of mobility challenge, particularly those who use wheelchairs or any other type of travel aid.
Border City Care-A-Van: individuals (with or without physical challenges) in need of transportation to "out of town" non-emergency medical appointments.
Application Process
Call to request service 24 hours in advance.
Fees
Border City Express: $8 per trip
Border City Care-A-Van: cost is a suggested donation of: -
$100+ for return trips to Edmonton or Saskatoon
$60 to Battleford
$40 to Vermilion
Rates are different for in-town and out-of-town trips. After hours rates apply.
