Service Description
A community-based children’s program delivered by the Public Health Agency of Canada. Program focuses on early childhood development for First Nations, Inuit and Métis children and their families living off-reserve. Authorized capacity for 25 children.
Provides structured preschool experiences for Aboriginal children focused on six program components:
- Aboriginal culture and language
- education and school readiness
- health promotion
- nutrition
- social support
- parental involvement.
Eligibility
Children 3 - 5 years of age.

Lloyminster from both Alberta and Saskatchewan. Reserves include Thunderchild, Onion Lake, Frog Lake and Fishing Lake First Nations.
