Service Description
Provides mentorship between an adult and a child on a one to one basis.
- Little Brothers and Little Sisters are accepted from all walks of life
- Big Brothers and Big Sisters are volunteers who go through screening, orientation and training sessions
- Volunteers are always needed
- Littles and bigs can participate on the Big Bunch, a monthly event that provides an afternoon of recreational activities
- The agency also facilitates mentoring matches in the local elementary schools.
Eligibility
Little Brothers and Little Sisters: Boys and girls 6 - 16 years of age may apply. Mentoring can be supported until 18 years of age.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters: Males and Females 18 years of age or older; older adults welcome.
