Service Description

Looking for new members each spring. New board members receive introductory training in policy governance through one-on-one conversations and are matched with “Board buddies” to explain details. Board members may participate in discussions, make decisions, join committees, and take back learning to other groups.

Every second month, board members meet for a 2-hour virtual meeting. Once a year, the South West District Board meets in person for an all-expenses paid, 1-day professional development and planning session.

Eligibility

Board members much reside within the South West District geographic boundaries.
