Service Description

Provides a number of services for food insecurity in the Battlefords area, including:

  • Food Bank – Provides emergency food hampers to those struggling with food insecurity
  • Food Bank Hub – Provides a place to store food for Northern food banks to ease the burden of finding transportation and storage
  • Warehouse Program – Provides food to other charities and non-profits in the community and surrounding area.

Application Process

Individuals can drop in and bring the necessary information (see Documents Required).

Documents Required

Documents required for first time individuals include:
1. ID for everyone in the family (health card or government ID)
2. Proof of address (i.e. a piece of mail delivered to the house)
3. Proof of monthly expenses (i.e. water bills, utilities, etc.)
4. Proof of income if you are working (i.e. pay stub)
5. Proof of government assistance (if applicable) (i.e. bring in bank statement to verify)
