Service Description
Provides individualized behavioral interventions and support services for children and youth up to 19 years of age and their families. Offers:
- Initial screening for autism spectrum disorder
- Development and monitoring of individual intervention plans
- In-home, early intervention to children five years of age and under or until the child has transitioned into a school program
- Individualized intervention to children and youth aged five to 19 years
- In-home family consultations
- Transition planning
- Collaboration with other service providers.
Eligibility
Children and youth up to 19 years of age with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). NOTE: Anyone can refer to the Autism Intervention Program, however, parent permission is required.
Application Process
Anyone wanting to access the program must go through an intake process. To request an agency intake appointment for yourself or to refer your child for an intake appointment, email intake@autismservices.ca.
