Service Description
Offers an in-person, 12-24 month program for adults to complete all seven courses needed for an Adult 12 diploma including math, science, social studies and English. Participants also develop job skills, make connections, participate in wellness, personal development, and Indigenous Learning classes, and create an active plan to enter employment and/or post-secondary training.
Program includes:
- Resumé writing
- Professional communication strategies
- Interview Skills
- How to successfully apply for jobs online
- Budgeting
- Computer Skills
- Typing
- Teamwork
- And more…
Students will participate in:
- Personal development
- Community Connections program
- One-on-one goal setting and career planning
- Indigenous Learning Course
- Additional job-related training opportunities
Eligibility
Ages 16 and up who have not completed a grade 12 diploma.
Application Process
Complete the online application at www.ignite.ca, write an entrance test for placement in appropriate program to ensure success and attend an interview.
