Service Description
Offers a social and recreation program for newcomer ages 55+ designed to help minimize social isolation and lack of access to community resources.
Program activities include:
- English classes
- Health and fitness sessions
- Cooking and baking workshops
- Arts and crafts
- Field trips and outdoor activities.
Eligibility
Newcomer women and men ages 55+ and any residency status: Permanent Resident, Citizen, Visitor or Work Permit.
Application Process
Register anytime. Registration available at IWS main office.
Documents Required
For new IWS clients, proof of immigration status is required.
