Service Description
Provides individuals of all ages and types of permanent disabilities, who require the assistance of a support person, to receive either a free admission or discounted admission for their support person, with the purchase of their own ticket at participating entertainment, cultural, and recreational venues across Canada. Eligibility
Persons with a permanent disability who require a support person when attending a movie theatre or attraction. A support person is an individual who provides services that are not provided by the participating theatre/attraction employees. Access 2 Card needs to be presented to access the discounted/free admission.
Application Process
Apply, renew, or request a replacement card online.
Application form must be submitted by a person with a disability or a legal guardian of this person.
Need for a support person/attendant must be verified by a registered healthcare professional or a recognized service provider and the applicant must be their client.
A photocopy of a CNIB ID card can be submitted in place of completing Section C of the application.
Documents Required
Completed application and administration fee.
Fees
$30 to validate for 5 years, or $20 to validate for 3 years. There is a replacement fee for lost or stolen cards.
