Service Description
Offers a 6 week employment program for recent high school graduates that are looking for a start towards a career in the trades. Course prepares students with all safety certification for entry level employment in the chosen industry, workplace behaviours are discussed and then students are placed with a mentor company in the specific area. Program provides learners with the basic fundamental knowledge and practical skills needed to build a career in the trades.
In partnership with Saskatchewan Apprenticeship Commission, learners earn apprenticeship hours. With the completion of the SYA Passport, students earn 300 additional hours and their indenture fee and Level 1 tuition becomes waived.

Eligibility
Applicants must be 21 years of age or under and complete a grade 12 or equivalent between specified dates.
