PrintService Description
Provides mental health services to individuals under 18 years of age and their families. It also deals with concerns about children and youth experiencing or at risk of developing significant emotional distress, dysfunction, or disability related to a mental disorder, stress and anxiety, or problems in daily living.
May provide a number of specialized mental health services accessible on a regional or provincial basis such as:
- Young offender assessment/treatment
- Parenting education groups
- Suicide prevention program
- Violence Threat Risk Assessments (VTRA)

Application Process:
Any parent or guardian who is a Saskatchewan resident may request voluntary mental health services from the program for a child or youth who is under the age of 18. Other professionals and agencies may also make referrals to Child and Youth Counselling Services. Contact the Regional Mental Health & Addictions Centralized Intake line.
