Service Description
24/7 Mobile Crisis Helpline: 306-757-0127
Call the crisis helpline if you feel you/your family are in, or about to experience, a crisis situation and need assistance. Emergency/crisis situations may include:
- Suicidal feelings (thoughts or plans)
- Mental health issues
- Child abuse and neglect
- Emergency financial need
- Homelessness
- Domestic violence
- Individual, marital and family problems
- Drug and alcohol addiction
- Problem gambling
- Excessive personal distress
- Older adults abuse and neglect
- Bereavement
- Custody issues
- Self-identified crisis.
Services provided may include information, crisis counselling, assessment, intervention and referral for ongoing services. Crisis workers will assess and provide transportation and child care on an emergency basis. Translation services available in over 155 languages. Individuals call also receive support through email.
Eligibility
Individuals, families or youth who are in crisis. Friends, relatives, business or concerned citizen needing advice to assist someone a crisis situation. No eligibility requirements.
