Organization Description

A Christian based organization that provides housing and support services for residents of varying ages and abilities, with a Village Model concept, where nine – ten residents live together in houses that are attached to one another by an internal street. Provides resident directed care, where residents direct their own lives and staff support them in their choices. Daily living assistants are assigned to each house to provide the care and services needed. Registered Nurses are available in a model that resembles home care without the need to travel. Amenities and services include:

    • Every Tuesday from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, residents, families, volunteers, and staff get together for an evening of wine and beer making
  • Tumbleweed Gift and Thrift Shop
    • Offers a selection of beautiful décor, items for house and yard, gift ware, clothing, books, and gently used clothing and household items
  • Oak Trees and Acorns Child Care Centre
  • Art Studio/Sherbrooke Creative Arts

  • Spiritual Care
    • All beliefs are honoured and respected, with opportunities to celebrate traditions and practice faith
