Battlefords Early Childhood Intervention Program

Organization Description

Provides a home based program supporting families whose children, birth – 6 years of age, have a developmental delay or are at risk for delay.  Families are supported as they transition to centre-based programs and make referrals when necessary for assessments and diagnosis.
Also supports families 6 – 21 years through Jordan’s Principle funding, assessments and recommendations. Staff advocate for families both federally and provincially.

Also partners with the Saskatchewan Health Authority to provide a Family Resource Centre in the Battlefords which provides support to young families through structured and unstructured play opportunities. Open to family’s whose children are prenatal – school age and provides indoor and outdoor activities.
