In-School Mentoring

Service Description
Provides boys and girls with a role model and a friend to talk to and share the experiences of growing up within school grounds. Builds a child’s self-esteem and school performance. Time commitment is one hour per week during the school year. Program may be delivered virtually.
Eligibility
Elementary school students attending participating schools.
Mentors: adults 18 years of age or older.

Documents Required
Volunteers are required to submit a Criminal Record Check from their local police station or RCMP detachment as well as a Vulnerable Sector Check.
