Child Care

A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 50 children between the ages of six months and 12 years. Child Care Subsidy accepted. 

Parents/guardians required to participate in some fundraising.

Programs and Activities

• Focus on developmentally appropriate activities, which include art, literature, science, music, dance, cooking, outdoor, and free play.
• Have a large focus on emotional regulation, emotional expression, and empathy.
• Are a play based organization and encourage children to explore a variety of concepts and learning opportunities through play.

Nutrition

• Partner with outside organizations to ensure they are providing nutritionally balanced meals.
• Focus on eating as an enjoyable experience – educators join the children during their meal times and encourage interaction and conversation about the concepts of colour, quantity, and temperature of the food.
• Children are encouraged to practice feeding themselves and are actively involved in serving food and other mealtime activities, such as setting and clearing the tables.
