Service Description
Provides one-to-one mentoring between an adult and a child.
- Big Brothers / Big Sisters – boys / girls and young men / women are accepted from all walks of life
- Big Siblings – provides non-binary gendered youth a role model to talk to and share experiences of growing up with.
- Regular outings based on common interests develops a relationship supported by coordinators.
- Mentors are volunteers who go through screening, orientation and training sessions
- Volunteers are always needed.
Eligibility
Mentee: Youth 5 - 14 years of age
Mentor: Adults 18 years of age or older.

No cost.

Hours of Operation
Matches meet at a mutually convenient time.
Casework staff is available from Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Usually requires two regularly scheduled outings per month of a few hours each and a minimum of a 1-year commitment.
