Service Description

Offers rental housing to individuals and families in select rural and northern Saskatchewan communities. The rent for these units is a fixed amount set by the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.

NOTE: The Affordable Housing Program is administered by local housing authorities on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.

Eligibility

Individuals and families are eligible for the program if they: -are legally allowed to be in Canada; -are not temporary visitors to Canada or foreign students. NOTE: Individuals must be able to live independently. This independence may include support from family, the community, or other agencies.

Application Process

To apply, complete the Housing Application and submit it to your local housing authority.

Tenants are required to provide a security deposit. Monthly rent is a fixed amount set by Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.
