Service Description

Provides a safe space for people to access a variety of services and activities.

Offers some or all of the following:

  • Low-barrier Needle Exchange Program
  • Free phone access
  • Free computer/internet access
  • Television/cable and daily newspaper
  • Washroom
  • Free laundry machine access.

Also provides access to support services available in areas such as:

  • Advocacy
  • Housing
  • Transportation to appointments
  • Filling out forms
  • Income assistance.

Additionally, in times of extreme weather, offers a space to cool down or warm up:

  • Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (the PHR is open 24/7 from November 19 to 25 only)
