Park Play Early Learning Centre – Hickory Campus

A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervisor for 90 children between the ages of 18 months and six years.

May care for children with delays and differing needs. Contact for further information.

Parents/guardians may be requested to fundraise or volunteer on a casual basis.

Philosophy

• Children have the freedom to be kids in a safe and fun environment.
• Semi-structured programming allows children the freedom to choose activities that they would like to do and that they enjoy.

Programs and Activities

• Kindergarten
  • Designed for Kindergarten students who need additional child care while they are not in school.
  • Care is provided on the half-day or every other day, and every non-statutory week day through the calendar year.
  • Transportation is provided to and from Centennial, MacNeill, Plainsview, St. Angela Merici and St. Nicholas schools (by school boards or centre buses).
• Preschool
  • Teaching is focused on the individual learning style and knowledge.
  • Each child’s uniqueness is embraced to help them grow and learn, while still enjoying themselves and the activities they are doing.
  • Children deserve the best start in life, and their development is assisted to its full potential.
  • Provides each child opportunity to explore language, music, movement, art, fine/gross motor activities and practical life.
