The SPSA website provides online information related to emergencies in Saskatchewan, including:

Families or individuals experiencing a personal disaster can reach out to the Canadian Red Cross for support for up to 72 hours.
NOTE: Most emergencies within Saskatchewan are managed at the local level first – usually by fire, police and emergency management. The SPSA can provide emergency food, clothing and shelter at the request of communities that are experiencing an emergency or crisis.
