Service Description
The Hate Crimes Unit reviews and investigates complaints that have been reported as being motivated by hate, bias or prejudice. Includes assisting other units in their investigations by providing specific hate/bias based knowledge if deemed necessary.
The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) has a multi-layered approach to Hate Crime investigations including: investigative, community outreach, intelligence gathering, and analysis and education. This approach utilizes the expertise of many sections within the SPS to ensure that a proper response is given to any reported incident.

Report a Hate Crime
1. Make a report in-person at the Saskatoon Police Service.
2. Make an online report.
3. Call 306-975-8300.
4. Make an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or emailing saskatooncrimestoppers.com.
