Service Description
Offers a fridge of donated food for the community to access when they need, 24/7. Includes dry goods, grab and go foods, non-alcoholic beverages, pastry, breads, fresh fruit and veggies, dairy products and eggs with best before date. A Community Fridge is a type of “free store” that is from the community, for the community. It is 100% community owned, used and maintained. Visit the Instagram page for more information.
DONATIONS NEEDED – fresh fruit and vegetables, canned and dry goods, dairy products, fresh eggs, grab and go food (single serve snacks and granola bars), bread and pastries, dairy and alternative products, sealed non-alcoholic drinks, prepared food from a Cerified Kitchen with ingredients and date listed.
DONATIONS NOT ACCEPTED – raw meat/seafood, dented/damaged cans, moldy produce/food items, large items that cannot be downsized easily, expired food, leftovers, alcohol, homemade food (unless prepared in a Certified Kitchen with ingredients listed).
