Service Description
Volunteer engineers and skilled technicians work one-on-one with people who have a specific need that cannot be met by commercial assistive devices. Every project is tailor-made to each person’s particular circumstances.
Eligibility
Persons with disabilities and older adults.
Application Process
Request For Assistance (RFA) forms are on the website, or contact a local chapter for more information.
Fees
The only cost associated is for materials for building the device and possibly mileage.
If cost is prohibitive, discuss situation with community coordinator in your area.
