Service Description

Hosts weekly peer support groups for Military, Veterans and Public Safety Personnel who are experiencing OSI (Operational Stress Injury) and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Visit the website to find out the target demographic.

Offers mental health support at no cost. Meetings are currently held via Zoom.

NOTE: Operational Stress Injuries (OSI), Occupational Stress Injuries (CSI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can occur when a person experiences or witnesses a traumatic event. This can also happen with repeated exposure to traumatic situations and details.

Eligibility

Military, Veterans and Public Safety Personnel who: 1. Meet the criteria of being one of the target demographic. Visit the website to find out the target demographic. 2. Are diagnosed with an OSI (Operational Stress Injury) and/or PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

Application Process

To attend one of the Zoom meetings, contact one of the contacts listed on the website. NOTE: This means that groups do not require you to be in their area to attend an online group.

The majority of services come at no cost to the individual.
