Organization Description

Southeast Regional Library serves 103,000 residents of Southeastern Saskatchewan through a network of 46 branches. Southeast Regional Library also has 4 community delivery sites (drop off points for library material circulation but not a full service branch). Together these branches and delivery sites serve 2 cities, 35 towns, 47 villages, 4 resort villages, 57 rural municipalities and 13 Indigenous communities.

Each branch varies in size, hours of operation, and the extent of the services offered to the public.

Branches may provide:

  • Selection of books (regular and large print), DVDs, CDs, video games, kits, sheet music and more

  • Online digital library (e-books, e-audiobooks, movies, learning programs) available 24/7

  • Various literacy programs for all ages and abilities (children, youth, adults, seniors, newcomers, people with disabilities, etc.)

  • Workshops on various topics

  • A wide variety of recreational, educational, cultural and economic programming for all ages
