Service Description

If an individual has a concern or problem with the way a pharmacy professional practices or the service they received from a pharmacy professional or pharmacy in Saskatchewan, the following steps are recommended:

  • Talk with the pharmacy professional about concerns.
  • If the pharmacy professional is unable to resolve concerns, or if the individual is not comfortable talking about the concerns with the pharmacy professional, talk with the pharmacy manager.
  • If dissatisfied with the above efforts, or if the individual feels it is inappropriate to do either of the above, contact the College to discuss concerns and they will offer guidance and suggestions.
  • If the College is unable to resolve the concern or situation with this approach, the individual can file a formal complaint.

Formal complaints must be received in writing or using the Complaint Form. Formal complaints must contain specific details about the event(s), concern(s), or pharmacy process(es), filled prescriptions, and or witnesses.
