Service Description
Provides information and advice about the process of becoming a foster parent, including:
Eligibility
- Foster parents can be married, single, same-sex, or common-law - Of any race or ethnicity - With or without children of your own - A renter or homeowner - Experienced with, or willing to learn about, children with special needs.
Application Process
Complete the information request form.
Documents Required
Criminal record check (applies to all adults living in home) and able to pass a child protection screening, and having no current or recent child protection history.
