Service Description
NOTE: The surgery schedule for the Subsidized Spay/Neuter Program is at capacity, and NO new applications are being accepted at this time. Those already on the waiting list for surgery will be contacted when appointment times become available. They anticipate re-opening applications in the second half of 2024.
Offers subsidized pet spay and neuter surgeries to financially disadvantaged households and animal rescue organizations in Regina in collaboration with the City of Regina.
Eligibility
You must be: - a resident of the city of Regina - 18 years of age or older - the owner or keeper of the pet being spayed or neutered - able to offer proof of being eligible for social assistance or of falling into specified family income or charitable animal rescue categories.
Application Process
Call or fill out an application form and send in.
Fees
You will need a pet license which must be purchased at the time of sterilization. Cat licenses are $20 and dog licenses are $25.
