Service Description

Assists families in crisis, particularly where violence is involved. Provides an environment of support and healing that is culturally and community based through traditional teachings. Includes:

  • Traditional teachings through the Medicine Wheel
  • Traditional counselling and mentoring with Elders
  • Sweats
  • Indigenous spirituality-based teachings.

Works with non-Indigenous persons who are in need, in crisis, and seeking support to deal with family violence (Addiction Services, Mobile Crisis).
