Service Description
A one-week employment experience for youth ages 12 years – 18 years. Interested youth can apply for a position with the “Clean Up Crew.” Youth experience the interview process and successful candidates will be assigned a shift to work at the Saskatoon Exhibition.
- Youth will be paid for a mandatory training session and receive a t-shirt to wear while working their shift.
- Clean up Crew members are paid minimum wage and must commit to working the entire week of the Saskatoon Exhibition.
- Youth clean the pedestrian walkways, parking lots, and the grandstand at the park under the supervision of BGC Saskatoon employees.
- Provides an opportunity for youth to work in a well supervised, supportive environment where they can learn what is expected of them in a job setting and have a reference for future employment opportunities.
