Service Description
*Access to this program is by referral from the Ministry of Social Services only*
Works with youth ages 15-21 who are transitioning into independent living. Aims to build community connections and skills needed to live on their own through one-on-one mentorship. Life skill areas worked on include:
- all areas concerned with housing (searching for apartments, understanding a lease, budgeting)
- health and hygiene
- job experience
- community connections
- emergency planning
- goal setting.
Eligibility
Youth ages 15-21 referred by the Ministry of Social Services.
